STRENGTHS:
Australia frequently tops surveys which ask respondents about their 'ultimate dream destination'. Is consequently considered to be an exotic destination, which is both an advantage and a hindrance as it reinforces the perception among Europeans and Americans that it is a difficult destination to travel to. Also,Australia is known worldwide for its islands and beaches, surf culture, Aussie's laid-back, carefree mentality, remoteness and extreme nature.
WEAKNESSES:
Sydney's strengths and weaknesses as a global city is really a wake up call that there is so much more that can be done to make Sydney, not only the first place to do business in Australia, but the Asia-Pacific region as well.
